VIDEO
In recent years I have trained as a video presenter, and also learned on-the-job how to script, direct and shoot short, informative video presentations.
Example 1
I was invited by Tourism New Zealand and Destination Queenstown to visit three premium golf courses – Jack’s Point, The Hills and Millbrook.
The resulting story and video package, ‘The land of the little white ball’, remains one of my favourite projects – entirely self-shot, scripted and directed.
Example 2
I travelled to London and Scotland as a guest of William Grant & Sons, the owner of the Balvenie whisky distillery. The trip highlighted craftsmanship with the use of several examples, from hand-made cars and shoes to the whisky itself.
The resulting video, which I scripted, directed and majority-shot, appears on the Executive Style website.
Example 3
As a motoring journalist, I frequently scripted, shot/directed and hosted review-style videos featuring different cars including this one featuring a trip across Japan in not one, but two Lamborghinis worth a collective $1.2 million.
It wasn’t difficult to make these two cars look good but shooting on the road, in another country, always presents its challenges!
Can I help you with video presentation, scripting, shooting or directing? Let’s talk.
